| Hey everyone. I'm sure you have all heard about the situation in BC right now. The forest fires have raveged many homes. Alot of people have lost their homes and everything they own. The Emperor s' Club is the movie that I am reviewing today. The Emperor s' Club stars kevin cline as a teacher at an all boys school, St. benedicts. He tries to get a young boy to get involved in class and learning. He thinks he is winning the boy over and so he puts him in the top 3 for a contest called the Mr. julius ceaser.The boy cheats at the contest. The movie then goes to 25 years later where kevin cline(teacher) gets cheated out of the headmaster position. Then he gets a suprise from that boy he knew 25 years ago. He wants a rematch at the Mr. julius ceaser contest. This movie was intellectual but I found it to be lacking a little excitement or eye catching quality. I give it a 2.5/5. While kevin cline did do a good job the movie was still lacking. If you are a cline fan you might enjoy this movie. |

Hate is a strong word. To say that you hate your sibling or your mother or your father is a huge statement. When expressing your dislike of something a sibling or a parent of yours does say you do not like it instead of you hate it. It makes the situation just a little bit better. It creates less tension as well. |

Ok today I review the movie Amelie. I found this movie to be refreshingly different. It had an awsome quality to it that I cannot really seem to explain. The movie starts out in a really eye catching way. Amelie is an amazingly played character. The actress who played her did very well in playing a girl who did not like how her life was going. My favorite part of the movie is when Amelie takes her fathers garden gnome and sends it around the world and has pictures sent back to her father of the gnome is places like rome and such. I give this movie a 5/5. It had originality, a great cast and it kept me intrested the whole time I was watching it. Please let me know what you think of my movie reviews and if you want me to keep on doing them..... |

:( :shock: :? :x :cry: :roll: :evil: Cell phones. They have been around for years now. It was fine when they first came out. People woulden't be talking on their cell phone while driving.They woulden't bring their cells to movie theatres. But now it is out of control!!!! People talk on their cell phones and do not watch where they are driving. Now drivers seem to have even less respect for cyclists and pedestrians. I think that if you wanna talk while in your car you should pull over!!!!! Unless you seem to be some super person who can pay attention to the road, pedestrians and the person on the phone all at the same time. |

So you may be wondering... why the heck is this person blogging about toothpaste? Well there is a simple answer to that question. Today on the radio I heard about a new toothpaste. Guess who is launching this new toothpaste ? The cavity-fighter also marks a first for kids' toothpaste -- it's the only one on the market to feature celebrity faces on its packaging rather than fictional or animated characters. Ok so the movie "eye of the beholder". It was pretty good. A man is in the business of catching people in the act.(taking pictures of people; cheating etc.) The thing is the man is a little crazy. He sees his daughter sometimes. You see his daughter and wife left him a couple of months or years(can't remember which)ago. He misses his daughter so much that he sees her. Anyways a little bit into the movie hes taking pictures of this women and his daughter tells him not to let her go. So he spends most of the rest of the movie following this women around. She has her problems too though. You will have to watch the movie to find out what hers are. This movie is a fairly hard movie to follow. More then usual but it is still worth renting. I give it about a 4/5 Tune in a little bit(or a couple of days) for my next review. [u]Amelie[/u] the french film.... |

The reviews are in! And it is horrible! As far as I have seen no one has liked this movie. I have heard that it is dull witted and has terrible actors. I have not seen the movie yet and I do not intend to. As is the sequels of these movies by themselves werent bad enough..... Now for the medallion... There were some good reviews, but like the reviews for freddy vs jason they pretty much stunk. I usually like jackie chans movies but this one did not appeal to me. It seems to much like his saterday morning cartoon show on ytv. So I havent seen it. These two movies got bad reviews which just backed me up on my first instinct they will be horrible just as most new movies and sequels are nowadays with an exception of a select few. |

I got overwhlemed last night with all the terrible things going on in the world. Yes I mean the hunger and aids and cancer stuff, but other things were hitting me aswell. Many people say society nowadays is built on christianity. They are wrong dead wrong. It hurts so much to realize all the things that are going on. All the sinful things. Strip clubs. Alcohol. Raves. It is terrible to watch. Almost unbearable. You can argue with me all you want on free choice and fun, but that doesnt change what I see and what many other christians should see aswell. |

How can these people blame teenagers for movie flops? If a movie looks bad people wont go see it. If a movie is good people will recommend it. DUH!!! These people cannot blame this on text messaging and teenagers. They need to get a life! (and start making better movies) Death to the sequels!!!!! |

So I was watching the news last night and they were reporting about something called an Etiquette camp.(sorry if I spelt that wrong) It seems that parents are sending their children here to learn manners. One of the "manners" apparantly is eating your soup the right way. HMMM you know what I think? I think this is ridiculous!!!! :roll: For one thing who cares how you eat your soup so long as you use your spoon. Secondly PARENTS should be teaching their kids manners not a camp. The parent that was on the news claimed she was to busy to teach her child manners. That is ridiculous! I don't care how busy a parent is if their only home even for just an hour a day that is still long enough for a child to learn from their PARENTS example. |

People in leadership of the church need to be watched. I know they sin just like everyone else but that doesnt mean we should let them be pastors or priests that sin all the time. Example?When a congregation lets a person in leadership even though the know the person is a homosexual. Now i'll approach the arguments against me. Everyone sins. Yes that is true but the difference here is that this person isent repenting of their sins they are openly saying its ok for some reason or another. Its genetic. Thats great. But alcoholism is also possibly genetic but people still over come that . It doesnt say in the bible that homosexuality is wrong. Yes it does if you read your bible you would know that. I havent heard of any other argument against me yet but you all of course are welcome to it. I also want to mention im not posting this to bash anyone but to set things straight and get some of the christians out there to think about who they follow. |

Man I have a million things to rant about! Reality tv shows especially the ones where people marry people they don't even know! gahhh!!!! I don't like survivor too much either. I mean I liked the first season but that was only beause it was new on the block and there had been barley any other reality tv shows on at the time. The first season of survivor was good. The second one stooped to the levels of a soap. I am also sick of bad story line sequels. This year has been the year of sequels. Gosh!!!! So what kind of movies do I like? I like movies first off that have a great story line. Second I like action. I like an occasional chase scene some shooting that sorta stuff. Third I like actors who are believable. One of my favorite movies is The Shining. It is awsome. It may be old but that doesnt matter. I also like shawshank redemption. Very good story line and awsome actors. One of the most recent movies I like the most though was the two towers. It had great special effects, pretty good story line, action, and awsome actors. Oh yeah some movies I hate. 8mm with nicholas cage was terrible. I did not like chocolate with johnny depp either. usually depp is a pretty good actor and I suppose he was in this movie but I found the movie over all dry and boring. Edward scissor hands was great though! One of depps' best movies. |

| Ok I realize george bush isent the most liked politician in the world.(let alone president)I know he has made mistakes. Like the war on iraq. But why was everyone judging him before he even did anything? Befor the war on iraq everyone was against george bush after it they were against him. He makes mistakes just like all humans do. But to judge him before he has done anything is wrong. Oh and no one seems to be to happy about him being against gay marriages either. Well for one thing everyone is entitled to their opinion and another I happen to think it's time a politician and/or president stood up for what he believed in. Especially on this subject. |

I was up all night nursing my wounds. :cry: I got about four hours of sleep but I was up all night. :( Last night sucked and today is looking pretty sucky as well. So i'm probably going to be leaving home.Its a scary thought but I can't stay at home. I'm not treated the best and me and my parents don't get along. I love my parents but they are having trouble loving me right now so off I go most likley. They havent learned that love is an action. oh well. I'm having various feelings about leaving home. I'm glad but not. Scared and excited. I hope this is for the best. I know it will be for right now but later down the line i'm not totally sure. |
